Job Overview Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Finance Associate (Private Equity) for our client in Boston, MA. This hybrid position supports fund accounting, financial reporting, and operations for private equity funds and co-investment vehicles. You’ll prepare quarterly financials, manage capital activity, and assist with audits while collaborating with compliance and investor relations. Ideal for an accounting professional with fund experience and proficiency in Excel and iLevel.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Fund Accounting – Reconcile fund bank accounts and prepare quarterly financial statements, capital reports, and Net IRR calculations for private equity funds and co-invest vehicles.

Financial Reporting – Compile fund position reports, reconciliations, and work papers to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Audit & Tax Support – Coordinate with auditors and tax teams during annual audits and regulatory reporting cycles.

Portfolio Monitoring – Collaborate with the Portfolio Monitoring team on company reporting, transaction closings, and investment documentation using iLevel.

Investor & Compliance Support – Prepare responses to investor requests, assist with SEC filings, and manage KYC and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required (CPA preferred).

Experience – 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in private equity, fund administration, or public accounting.

Technical Skills – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; preferred experience in iLevel, VPM, or comparable fund management software.

Industry Knowledge – Solid understanding of GAAP, partnership accounting, fund structures, and private equity operations.

Skills & Attributes – Analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
