Who They Are We are working with a leading specialist in the architectural glazing, curtain wall, storefronts, and custom metal framing systems. The company delivers full envelope solutions for new construction, renovation, and façade restoration projects. They're seeking a driven Sales Representative to expand their Midwestern market presence. This role will cultivate new opportunities and manage existing accounts targeting architects, general contractors, façade consultants, building owners, and developer partners. It also includes owning the sales lifecycle from lead identification to contract execution, in partnership with the company's design, estimating, and operations teams.

What You'll Do

Proactively prospect and qualify leads within defined territories (commercial, institutional, high-rise)

Develop and maintain relationships with architects, general contractors, façade consultants, and owner representatives

Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and project budgets (often conceptual-level)

Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to ensure feasibility, scope alignment, and pricing integrity

Negotiate contract terms and follow deals through to contract award

Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new glazing/metal façade technologies

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

What You'll Need

5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in construction, architectural systems, façade, glazing, or building materials industry

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Strong technical aptitude—comfortable reading blueprints, understanding structural and weatherproofing constraints

Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently

Willingness to travel within the territory (may include overnight)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
