Overview
EY is seeking a Manager in SAP Finance for the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) within the IS-OIL solution. The role involves working with clients to deliver SAP PRA implementations, analyzing business models and processes, and translating requirements into technical specifications. Travel may be required based on client needs. Responsibilities
Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications. Evaluate and ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions. Manage delivery streams, projects, and client engagements; maintain billable client charging. Oversee teams to achieve complex technical initiatives and ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design effective SAP PRA solutions. Provide expert guidance on SAP PRA functionalities (division order, production accounting, regulatory compliance). Coordinate system configuration, testing, and user training to enable adoption of the SAP PRA module. Engage in special projects to optimize revenue accounting processes and system performance. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. 4 to 6 years of SAP consulting experience with a focus on the PRA module within IS-OIL, ideally in Upstream Oil & Gas. Proven track record of successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget. Strong understanding of revenue accounting processes, production reporting, and regulatory requirements in oil and gas. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues (regulations, industry practices, new technologies). Experience developing functional specifications. Willingness to travel; travel estimated at 60%+. Preferred / Additional
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification in Financial Accounting or related modules is a plus. Experience with at least three full-cycle implementations of the core module. Additional SAP Finance certificates; prior industry experience in accounting departments. Experience leading cross-functional teams. What We Look For
