Lead a robust
Strong Community Campaign
with board participation, major gift cultivation, member giving growth, and special events. Recruit and develop a 24‑member advisory board, engage community leaders, and maintain active board committees. Foster a member‑focused culture, promote listening and self‑service, and administer timely performance evaluations. Steward the branch budget – develop annual budget, monitor monthly performance, and achieve fiscal goals. Implement relationship‑based member engagement, maintain facility safety, and ensure program quality. Model risk‑management practices, maintain safety training, and support association‑wide projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum five years of senior‑level management experience. Proven success hiring, training, and developing staff. Demonstrated budget development and financial management expertise. Job Requirements
Commitment to YMCA mission, vision, and values. Complete new‑employee orientation within 30 days of hire. Obtain CPR/AED, First Aid, O2, and Listen First Workshop certification. Adhere to all YMCA policies and procedures. Work a schedule that reflects branch needs, including evenings and weekends. Essential Functions – Physical/Mental Requirements
Perform physical activities: climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, sit, stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds. Lead, delegate, and communicate effectively in writing and orally. Make independent decisions, solve problems, and manage tasks in a changing environment. Maintain high detail orientation, accuracy, and alertness. Work collaboratively with diverse groups, demonstrating initiative and confidentiality. This position is full‑time and is located in Wichita, KS.
