Overview This role is part of the Global Chief Security Office (CSO) – You will be responsible for the design, manage and enhance the organization's email security infrastructure, implementing best practices to protect against email‑based threats, and ensuring that email systems are secure, reliable and resilient against cyberattacks. This includes the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls, the evaluation and selection of security products and services. You will work closely with key stakeholders across information technology (IT), networks, operations, architecture, and production support functions.

What You'll Do

As an Email Security Lead, you'll be responsible for system architecture and deployment of email security solutions, ensuring smooth operation through effective troubleshooting and vendor management.

Go-to expert for email security technologies, providing guidance, improvements, and serve as final L3 engineering escalation.

Coordinate with both internal and external teams to meet project milestones and ensure product stability.

Drive enhancement to the email security infrastructure & comprehensive documentation.

Responsible for performance monitoring, tracking Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), and managing centralized risks to maintain a strong security posture.

Skills You'll Need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

Strong understanding of malware & phishing techniques, anti-phishing strategies, and email encryption, Strong knowledge in current security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, Scripting skills and experience working with global teams on enterprise-level projects.

Operating System: UNIX/RHEL Administration

Messaging: M365, Exchange Server, Email Migration

Programming Language: Python, Shell Programming

Skills That Will Help You Excel

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Logical, innovative, articulate, with the proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical teams and individuals.

Highly proactive self-starting ethos, strong customer focus, strong work ethic, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
