Role Overview The Digital Product Senior Analyst supports the delivery of specific functionality within Constellation’s digital products. This role requires foundational experience in business analysis or product support and readiness to take on direct responsibility in backlog management, user story development, and stakeholder engagement. The analyst will act as the "voice of the business" in Agile ceremonies while receiving mentorship from senior product leaders.
Responsibilities
Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for technical refinement.
Partner with the Product Owner/Product Lead to groom and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value and delivery feasibility.
Draft and refine prompts for AI agents, evaluating results for accuracy and to support production functionality and user experience.
Collaborate with technical business analysts to prepare stories for development.
Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate status updates.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), helping to validate delivered functionality against requirements.
Represent assigned functionality from the business perspective in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field and 5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related field. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience.
Demonstrated strong ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Travel required as necessary to meet business needs and in‑person attendance for trainings, all‑hands meetings, and other moments that matter.
Familiarity with business economics and ROI concepts.
Ability to regularly co‑locate with working teams in an office setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
Exposure to writing or refining prompts for AI agents, chatbots, or digital assistants.
Exposure to digital product management.
Prior experience supporting backlog refinement or sprint planning.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data‑driven decision making.
Benefits and Salary Expected salary range: $111,600 to $124,000, varies with experience.
