Overview EY – AI & Data – Manager – Oil & Gas Sector

Location: Anywhere in Country ​

Base salary range: $125,500 – $230,200

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise AI strategy and quantitative modeling for Oil & Gas clients.

Drive high-impact client engagements on Generative AI, Agentic AI, MLOps, and AI governance frameworks.

Manage engagement delivery, client relationships, resource plans, and budgets.

Define and implement AI and quantitative modeling strategy across oil & gas value chains.

Establish AI governance frameworks for responsible AI, model risk management, and regulatory alignment.

Design and operationalize Agentic AI solutions in complex environments.

Prioritize AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, and risk.

Lead multidisciplinary AI teams to deliver end‑to‑end AI platforms and solutions.

Partner with senior business and IT leaders to identify strategic opportunities.

Implement ModelOps and MLOps practices for transparency, reproducibility, and monitoring.

Lead AI solution architecture, including hybrid cloud deployments.

Serve as a thought leader in emerging AI technologies.

Build internal capability in Responsible AI and energy sector‑specific solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field.

5+ years of experience in technology consulting or AI‑driven business solutions.

3+ years of leading AI/ML projects with team management and executive stakeholder engagement.

Proven success in AI strategy and governance models.

Hands‑on experience with Generative AI frameworks and MLOps platforms.

Proficiency in Python, Pandas, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, Spark, SQL, and cloud tools.

Strong communication, client‑facing, and stakeholder influence skills.

Experience in oil & gas industry operations and use case landscape.
