Job Overview
WBFF/WNUV has an immediate opening for a creative News Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our newscasts. This position will also work closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors on the newscast and its content. You will determine the content and flow of newscasts, work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories, and develop content for our website.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Executes news strategies and goals in daily newscasts
Flexibility and on‑the‑spot problem‑solving ability are a must
Proficient with non‑linear editing (e.g., Avid) and newsroom systems such as iNews
Experience
At least some previous news‑producing experience at a commercial TV station (entry‑level considered)
Journalism degree preferred
Compensation and Benefits The hourly compensation range for this role is $18.50 to $21.63. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full‑time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and an employee stock purchase plan.
