RF Engineer - Hardware Team Lead Lockheed Martin Space Mission Processing team seeks a highly skilled RF Engineer Sr Stf to lead an Integrated Product Team for a major hardware system that includes antennas, software‑defined radios, and related RF connections.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of RF circuits and systems including amplifiers, filters, and antennas.

Direct hands‑on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

Develop and implement test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate cross‑functionally to integrate RF systems with other components and interface with government customers on system specifications.

Work with software‑defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing.

Provide mentorship to junior RF engineers.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of related experience working on software development projects.

Advanced knowledge of RF circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, and components.

Advanced experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF power meters.

Experience managing a budget for a project or team.

Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Experience with government COMSEC applications and integration of Crypto devices and communications systems.

Experience with military satellite communications, ground‑based systems, and RF front‑end design.

Experience leading and managing research or design projects and controlling earned‑value management programs.
