Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00AM - 3 : 00PM)
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Provide patient care, including care of patients in restraints, lift / transfer assistance, and patient / family teaching.
Perform chart checks, emergency response, and use of crash cart and defibrillator.
Administer external beam therapy, including IMRT, electron beam therapy, and prostate cancer treatment with seeds / fiducials.
Conduct CT simulation, tumor localization, custom molds, and custom shields.
Utilize CBCT / kV / mV imaging for pretreatment.
Operate treatment units include Elekta Infinity, Elekta Versa HD, and HexaPOD.
Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, respiratory, social services, transportation, and rapid response teams.
Treat adults and geriatric patients with all cancer diagnoses, including SBRT, ExacTrac Dynamic, and ABC procedures.
Required Certifications and Skills
ARRT (R)
BLS (AHA or equivalent)
Adult outpatient care experience
Preferred Experience and Skills
Epic charting system experience
Teaching hospital experience
Beam modifying / positioning skills
Patient Ratios
