This is a unique and high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are seeking a Cloud & AI Revenue Senior Finance Manager to lead our research efforts. This role will partner across organizations to develop and deliver impactful insights, clear frameworks, and new thinking that are regularly presented to Microsoft’s executive leadership. Responsibilities

Analyzing local and global cloud market and competitive dynamic trends to guide important decision making for our finance, engineering, and sale leadership. Performing analysis across investments, margins, cost structure, and other KPIs. Support peer teams on decision making with research into peer financial disclosures, targeting differentiation reported in quarterly earnings calls, 10Ks, 10Qs, and S-1 filings. Leading our product portfolio analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve and compete, as well as defining strategies with engineering teams to close any potential gaps. Be a strategic advisor to team members on their projects. Help shape effective approaches and support them in creating clear framework that tackles the project problem statements. Help ensure outcomes are socialized appropriately, and actions are followed up on. Bring thought leadership on how we can be more efficient in collecting and socializing market updates from sources such as news and announcement events. Embody our culture and values. Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field. OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field. OR equivalent experience. 2 years of experience building Excel models and leveraging financial systems for accurate analysis and reporting. Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience. OR equivalent experience. Technology, investment banking, or strategy consulting experience preferred. Excel modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems. Passionate about the technology industry, and ability to engage in technical discussions. Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in fast evolving business. Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed analysis. Business partnership experience across multi-disciplinary teams, with ability to influence others. High level of self-motivation; ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished and resourcefulness to get things done. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
