About the Opportunity
A leading Houston-based mechanical contractor is seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to lead a flagship
$60M data center project . With a strong legacy in complex mechanical builds and a robust project pipeline, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a mission‑critical project with direct succession potential into executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full‑cycle delivery of a $60M data center project, from pre‑construction through commissioning.
Direct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
Oversee all MEP/HVAC scopes with a focus on mission‑critical infrastructure and redundancy systems.
Manage client relationships and ensure alignment with technical, financial, and timeline expectations.
Lead on‑site teams, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
Drive risk management, change orders, and project documentation.
Mentor Junior PMs / Project Engineers – succession into leadership is encouraged.
Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years
in mechanical construction project management (HVAC, MEP, or mission‑critical projects).
Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (P6, MS Project) and cost controls.
Ability to coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
OSHA 30, PMP, or relevant certifications preferred.
