Maintenance & Engineering Services Director
Join AAF Latinoamérica as the Director of Maintenance & Engineering Services to lead the maintenance department, manage capital projects, and drive continuous improvement in plant operations. Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day activities of the maintenance team and external contractors, establishing goals, priority plans, and performance evaluations. Lead CapEx execution: prepare and oversee facility capital asset projects, ensuring proper funding, documentation, and project completion. Develop strategic capital and expansion plans to meet sales growth and equipment replacement needs. Document and standardize maintenance processes, including capital start‑up plans, SOPs, and preventive maintenance programs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to waste disposal, facility permits, fire codes, and safety systems. Maintain operating and capital budgets, collaborate with leadership for cost containment, and develop long‑term savings strategies. Provide safety leadership, collaborating with EH&S to enforce policies and promote a safety‑first culture. Coordinate special projects, calendars, presentations, data analysis, and reporting to support plant performance. Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of maintenance and manufacturing leadership experience. Engineering degree required. Proven track record delivering multi‑million dollar projects from inception to completion. Experience with CMMS, preventive maintenance practices, and capital project management. Strong communication, cross‑functional teamwork, and leadership skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and write PLC programs. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and move equipment with a dolly or pallet jack.
