How You’ll Spend Your Time
Analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and providing recommendations on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
Identifying bottlenecks, streamlining processes, and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Providing guidance, training, and support to engagement staff and promoting open communication with the engagement partner and manager.
Reviewing and conducting financial statement reviews and compilations.
Collaborating cross-functionally with our tax, assurance, and accounting advisory groups to fully service clients.
Remaining current on technical and industry developments and standards, evaluating the potential impact on clients’ business and financial position.
The Kinds of People We Want
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business‑related field of study.
CPA license preferred, or working toward CPA certification.
Minimum of three years of experience in a local or mid‑sized CPA firm or a tax consulting practice; food & beverage industry experience is a plus.
Experience working with a high volume of financial statements with tight deadlines.
Strong accounting technical background along with a curiosity and willingness to stay current on all key law changes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and technical skills.
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
Strong training and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm well to client management.
