Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Seattle, WA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate school psychologist to support elementary school students throughout the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role involves working directly with students, families, and educators to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing counseling and crisis intervention, collaborating with teachers and staff, and offering recommendations to support student needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing diverse student populations and be skilled in delivering evidence-based interventions.
Key Qualifications :
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working with elementary-aged children
Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
