About This Role
The Sr. Benefits Analyst will support all employee benefit programs (insured and non-insured) globally for OpenTable, focusing on governance, design, analysis, implementation and communication. The role will be involved in ensuring that the local benefits packages follow local relevance, legal compliance, industry standards, and are aligned with our global benefits philosophy. The role will focus on both internal management of benefits but also the relationships with relevant third parties (brokers, benefits providers, system providers, etc). Key Responsibilities
Ensure that benefits programs remain compliant with local legislation, competitive with local and global job markets and aligned with OpenTable’s global total rewards strategy. Conduct regular benchmarking and monitoring market-competitiveness of programs to ensure they address the employee’s and business’s needs. Provide support in the designing, testing and maintaining Benefit Administration Tools (Workday) and troubleshoot integration issues Support with leave administration via policy-setting and process enhancement for all types of leave. Support departmental & regional People Partners, HR Operations, Payroll and business leaders with global processes and localized adoption of global philosophies. Responsible for training HR teams for ongoing administration, communication, and execution of benefits programs. Work with HR People Partners, the HR systems & delivery teams, the Compensation & Benefits team, internal communications teams and other specialist teams or consultants to educate and inform employees and deliver the full value of our benefits in an accurate and productive Trouble-shoot and support resolution of escalated issues with internal and external stakeholders. Point person on global benefits & well-being projects and global vendor management & negotiation Keep updated on current trends in benefits and well-being in the workplace, and constantly assess and propose new ideas for OpenTable Lead annual Open Enrollment process, including employee communication and system design. Skills/Experience required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred 5 years of employee benefit experience, preferably in a global environment. Very strong understanding of regional Benefits practices and regulations, and reporting. Workday experience preferred. Strong capability to work with data and analyze data to create insights and results. The ability to quickly zoom-in to details and analysis, and to zoom-out for the big picture of the business. Effective verbal and written communication skills while working closely with regional and global teams. Excellent project management skills to be able to work independently in completing tasks and guide projects with minimal supervision with multiple stakeholders. Enthusiastic collaborator, to partner with others in HR, across our regions, and with other departments to achieve results together. You constantly seek inspiration and innovation in the area of employee benefits to understand how to support the business and give our people an outstanding employee experience, in ways beyond best practices. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $125,000 — $140,000. We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits.
