Job Description
Check all products for accuracy against quality standards and deliver products to customers safely, courteously, and timely while working as part of a team. Support the restaurant by performing other workstation duties. Comply with Domino’s uniform, appearance, operations standards and federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Responsibilities
Perform duties including pre‑delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures; providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone; deliver flyers and door hangers. Deliver pizza to individual customer homes. Must be able to safely interact with customers at their homes. Receive and process telephone orders. Handle sensitive and confidential customer information in a responsible manner. Execute credit transactions, and make bank deposits as necessary. Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun. Navigational skills needed to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery area; must navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. Operate all equipment, clean equipment and facility daily, and perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, preparing product, and taking orders. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Must have verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/finders to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Physical Demands
STANDING: Most tasks performed from a standing position (height of work surfaces 28″ – 48″). WALKING: Short distances and short durations. SITTING: Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table. LIFTING: Bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 lb (3 × 1.5 ft) lifted/moved to walk‑in cooler or other sections of the store. CARRYING: Large cans and pizza dough trays (12 lb) carried from the workstation to storage shelves. PUSHING and PULLING: Trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force. CLIMBING: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder. STOOPING/BENDING: Forward bending at the waist for 30‑45 s at one time, repeated during the day. REACHING: Reaching above 72″ to turn on/off oven controls and lift objects. HAND TASKS: Frequent use of hands, forearms and wrists. MACHINES/TOOLS/WORK AIDs: Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter and peel. DRIVING: Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area. Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks, delivering product, driving and couponing. In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some work areas. Exposure to cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools from oven (up to 500 °F), sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Sensory: Speaking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks. Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards and handle people. Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle. Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise. Must be cross‑trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed. Bilingual in certain markets. Non‑exempt, hourly position. Split pay wage based on in‑store and on‑the‑road rates.
