Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist to perform laboratory tests, maintain accurate records, and ensure quality control while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Process specimens and perform analyses using approved testing procedures.
Release test results, ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
Maintain quality control records, document all testing activities, and follow corrective action protocols when necessary.
Report critical results, assist with customer inquiries, and ensure a clean and organized lab environment.
Participate in training and safety programs and assist with regulatory inspections as needed.
Qualifications
Education : BS in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (or equivalent).
Certifications : (ASCP, AMT) / MLT, MLS certification is required.
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, QC / QA, and computer systems.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (high-complexity testing).
Must have current MLT / MLS.
