Our collaborative team values professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. We are currently seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary to join our team and support our growing practice. Position Summary The Litigation Secretary will provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and related litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in California state and federal court procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence File documents electronically in state (e.g., LASC, OC Superior) and federal courts via ECF systems Maintain litigation calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings Manage case files, both physical and electronic, in compliance with firm standards Coordinate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel Track and meet deadlines, including court-imposed and internal deadlines Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders, subpoenas, and witness coordination Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Qualifications Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in California, preferably in employment law Strong knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and local rules Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal practice management software Experience with court e-filing systems (One Legal, TrueFiling, CM/ECF, etc.) Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred Competitive salary up to $100,000/year depending on experience Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Health insurance options Equal Opportunity Employer LHH is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
