Executive Legal Recruiter | Attorney | Author and Independent Scholar We are working with a growing personal injury and mass torts law firm seeking an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will be competent to handle all aspects of litigation, ideally in complex cases involving mass torts, environmental torts, class actions, and sex abuse claims. The position is on-site in Columbus, Ohio. Compensation is $85,000 to $125,000, depending upon experience. Benefits information is available from the employer. Base pay range

Manage litigation matters, independently, from client intake through final judgment. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, responses, briefs, and motions. Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions. Strategize for trial proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations, as well as prepare for them and attend them. Handle discovery, i.e., draft discovery requests and responses, resolve discovery disputes, manage e-discovery, and engage in deposition practice. Provide guidance and advice to clients. Maintain knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal statutes, regulations, and practice rules. Qualifications
Understanding of all aspects of litigation from intake to trial Superb organizational skills Ability to support a volume docket of cases Capacity to utilize technology and case management software to aid efficiency and effectiveness in representing clients and supporting lead attorneys Experience adhering to data integrity standards Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Track record of excellent, reliable, and persuasive work product Fearlessness in seeking assistance and asking questions, when aid, clarification, or greater insight are needed Keen desire quickly to assume responsibility and to grow as a litigator Ability to navigate the dynamic nature of litigation and to manage multiple deadlines and projects at once, while working both independently and on a team Habitual ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues, staff, clients, opposing attorneys, and court personnel Licensed in good standing in Ohio Other details
