Position Summary
The Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager will manage a book of insurance business, market new and renewal business, and round out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Essential Tasks
Assist the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client’s insurance policies. Prepare endorsements to send to the insurance carriers. Assist with cancellations of policies. Educate clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs. Handle renewals and remarkets as needed. Develop proposals and may present to clients. Handle or refer insured’s questions or delegate to appropriate team member. Actively refer clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business. Maintain detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24). Maintain healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholders. On occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies. Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current. Core Competencies

3-5 years of Personal Line Insurance experience required. Licensing and Credentials
Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required. Designations preferred (CISR, CIC, CPRIA). Systems
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25 pounds. Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens. Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person. Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key. Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions.
