Key Responsibilities
Lead the breast imaging division, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic growth
Serve as the Lead Interpreting Physician for FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and quality standards
Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgery, oncology, and pathology, to deliver comprehensive breast care
Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
Participate in and support clinical research and academic initiatives
Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and regulatory standards
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri
Demonstrated leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to academic excellence and collaborative team-based care

Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is seeking a dynamic and experienced radiologist to serve as Chief of Breast Imaging. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance a well-established breast imaging program within an academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health have partnered for decades to provide exceptional medical services to patients at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and most recently Saint Louis University Hospital.
SLUCare's more than 600 faculty, other academic medical professionals, and staff are now a dedicated academic physician division within SSM Health – St. Louis and continue their work as researchers and educators. They will collaborate with SSM Health Medical Group's more than 600 community-based providers to deliver care at more than 50 physician office locations, as well as through comprehensive virtual and digital health services.
