Overview Develop novel computational and statistical approaches for genomic data generation, analysis, and interpretation. Lead research and implementation of optimal analysis methods for genomic data sets and support all aspects of NGS analysis.
Responsibilities
Research, develop, and implement optimal analysis approaches for genomic data sets.
Design, develop, and deploy data analysis pipelines for NGS data.
Support data generation, analysis, and interpretation for clinical and research production.
Prepare novel methods and technologies for research and clinical production.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or Biology.
Minimum 2 years experience with modern NGS tools and NGS data analysis.
Minimum 2 years experience with UNIX/LINUX.
Minimum 2 years experience with a scripting language (Perl or Python).
Minimum 2 years experience with core bioinformatics tools and databases.
Minimum 1 year experience designing, developing, and deploying data analysis pipelines.
Minimum 1 year experience with software development, including version control, unit and integration testing, documentation, and deployment.
Minimum 2 years experience with statistical tests and experimental design techniques.
Track record of publication of scientific research and/or method development.
