Epic Applications Analyst - 1391
Valley Health is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst to maintain, implement, and optimize enterprise applications, systems, and databases to ensure optimum performance. Responsibilities
Assists in the implementation and maintenance of Epic systems and databases, following standards for on‑call, downtime, and request processing. Responds to and addresses system issues and requests, meeting SLA goals and policies. Analyzes complex processes, collaborates on workflow analysis, and performs data extraction. Participates in technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, cost, and usefulness. Participates in project phases – planning, change control, testing, and user acceptance – and assists in prioritizing requested changes. Communicates status to teammates and internal/external customers; escalates issues and maintains project documentation. Supports system communication for new version releases and change‑control processes. Qualifications
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issue lists, and follow a project plan. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication with follow‑up skills. Technical knowledge of configuring and building healthcare IT to drive quality improvement and safety goals. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for health system EHRs. Ability to lead and mentor application teams. Independent and collaborative for content build/project/upgrade as delegated by project manager/director. Experience in change management. Required to certify in Epic application(s) and advance to Epic Certified Applications Analyst within 2080 hours of employment at Valley Health. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or Information Technology related field or four (4) years of equivalent work experience. Certification & Licenses
Epic certification in primary module(s) within 6 months of hire. Maintain current Epic certification for all essential certifications per Epic Corporation standards. Physical Demands
