You will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting scalable and secure infrastructure solutions across both AWS and Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
Build and configure cloud resources, including virtual networks, storage, compute, load balancers, databases, and security groups.
Ensure infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, availability, and cost‑efficiency.
Automation & Scripting
Develop automation scripts using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell to deploy and manage resources.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
Automate routine tasks and monitor infrastructure health and performance.
Cloud Security & Governance
Implement and manage security best practices in AWS and Azure, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, and network security.
Configure and monitor security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability scanning.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) and internal policies.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and resource utilization using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and other relevant tools.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize resource usage, and recommend cost‑saving measures.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement preventive measures.
Disaster Recovery & Backup Solutions
Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies in both AWS and Azure.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and business continuity across cloud platforms.
Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements.
Provide guidance and support for cloud‑related issues and best practices to internal teams.
Assist in the migration of workloads to the cloud and provide ongoing maintenance and support for cloud environments.
Documentation & Reporting
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Generate regular reports on cloud resource usage, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including networking, storage, compute, and security.
Experience with cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, key management, and network security.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in cloud environments.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and multi‑cloud architectures is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in cloud environments.
Familiarity with serverless architectures and services such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
