New England OB GYN Associates is seeking a board-certified (MFM) physician to establish ultrasound and consulting services within a General OB/GYN Private Practice group. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-volume practice focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills in obstetric ultrasound, including advanced fetal imaging and procedures, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consultation and co-management of high-risk obstetric patients
Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, including detailed fetal anatomy scans, growth studies, BPPs, Dopplers, and fetal echocardiograms
Collaborate with referring OB/GYNs, sonographers, genetic counselors, and other providers
Participate in ultrasound quality assurance and program development
Contribute to exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes
Oversight of additional MFM and sonographers
One-two (24) hour calls per month
Participate in prenatal diagnostic clinics and interdisciplinary conferences
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Qualifications
MD from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited MFM fellowship
Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABOG)
Expertise in obstetric ultrasound and fetal imaging required
Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Preferred Experience
Experience with ultrasound program development or leadership
Proficiency in using ultrasound systems (GE)
