Position Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performs duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team in surgical services, such as scrubbing on all types of operative procedures, obtaining and preparing instruments and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment.

Responsibilities

Scrub on all operative procedures.

Prepare instruments and equipment.

Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment.

Assist the surgical team as directed by the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist Program (military Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of training program).

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification provided by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

Six to twelve months of prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $26.96/hour - Maximum $31.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
