Marketing & Events Coordinator, The Shops at Columbus Circle Responsibilities

Support drive of traffic and sales to The Shops at Columbus Circle.

Partner closely with the Marketing Director in creating and executing marketing initiatives, tactics, programming, activations, tenant relations, onsite signage, promotions, and website content.

Contribute to strategic direction of retailer partnerships to support their business and add value to overall marketing efforts.

Manage and edit monthly content calendars for website, newsletters, blogs, employee app, and social media.

Execute social media briefs for agency schedules based on tenant and partner promotions, events, shop and restaurant information, local happenings.

Review and update all website content including hero rotators, event listings, store listings, blogs; implement SEO and analytics learnings.

Track inventory of assets and manage on‑site signage; schedule installations, removals, digital signage uploads, creative refreshes, inventory reporting.

Develop and sustain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and retail and restaurant tenants; ensure weekly/bi‑weekly in‑store check‑ins and communications.

Work with tour operators and concierge/tourism teams on visitor guide distribution, partnership development, and traffic/sales growth opportunities.

Oversee third‑party event project management: inbound leads, proposals, contracts, insurances, invoices, billing, creative approvals, brand activations, event execution, post‑event summaries.

Coordinate permits, security, housekeeping, engineering, and event invoicing with operations teams.

Maintain contract matrix for marketing and events, provide regular status reports and briefings, keep contact sheets, organize online Box, and support property upkeep and improvement projects.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06 per hour. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Marketing or related field.

Experienced team player, showing leadership and ownership of projects.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Creative and strategic thinker with a solutions‑oriented growth mindset.

Self‑starter who is proactive, resourceful, and adaptable.

Strong attention to detail and careful listening.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Fluency and literacy of multi‑channel marketing tactics and platforms (social media, OOH, digital advertising, onsite advertising, owned channels).

Work evening & weekend events including load‑ins/outs.

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
