Recruit, screen, identify, contact, and interview participants to obtain data for assigned research projects. Conduct interviews in person, in a clinical setting, the subject’s residence, or by telephone. Coordinate the data collection process and may abstract data from the participant’s medical record. Schedule appointments, obtain consent forms, explain the study to the participant, and collect data. Observe participants and record results of observation through written documentation or video recording. Edit completed questionnaires for completeness, legibility and accuracy. Follow up with participants to obtain missing data or clarify existing data. Design forms, worksheets and study questionnaires. Code and enter data into a database. Compile data and produce reports to be used for analysis of research findings. Monitor vital signs and collect biological samples as required. Provide direction to others engaged in the interviewing process and maintain required record‑keeping. Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of administrative support, customer service or other related experience including one year of interviewing experience. Data entry experience. For positions requiring phlebotomy, completion of a phlebotomy training program. Candidate will work in a dynamic clinical team research environment. Temporary assignment for 6 months with potential to continue as a regular employee. Note: Position tasks are required to be performed in‑person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice.
