As the Enterprise Architect, you will play a strategic role in designing and maintaining enterprise-wide architecture solutions that align with Wellstar’s mission and IT strategy. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, ensure architectural consistency, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Define enterprise architecture designs that ensure scalability, security, and performance across Wellstar systems.
Conduct architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and risk assessments for new and ongoing projects.
Develop, maintain, and enforce enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business to align architecture with organizational goals and requirements.
Drive continuous innovation and architectural improvements in support of business transformation and digital modernization.
Integrate emerging technologies into the enterprise architecture landscape to maintain competitive advantage.
Document and communicate architecture decisions, designs, and roadmaps in a clear and accessible manner.
Provide guidance and technical leadership to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Assess architectural risks and define strategies for mitigation and sustainable implementation.
Requirements Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering or software architecture roles.
Proven track record of breaking down complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
Familiarity with the tools in their tech stack:
Snowflake, Epic, Caboodle and Clarity on prep, Workday, Microsoft Dynamic 365, Onbase, PACS, ServiceNow
Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration strategies.
Experience working with healthcare platforms.
Demonstrated leadership in project or product management (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s in IT preferred).
Skills
Expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native architectural patterns.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API management, DevOps, and containerization technologies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman (required).
Deep understanding of IT security, data governance, and regulatory compliance in enterprise environments.
Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain and their potential impact on healthcare.
