FP&A Analyst – Sedron Technologies (Chicago, IL)

Responsibilities

Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including long‑range capital planning and scenario analysis.

Analyze monthly performance for the core business and capital projects, comparing actual results to pro‑forma projections and identifying key drivers of variance.

Develop and maintain detailed project finance models to evaluate new capital projects, expansions, and strategic investments.

Partner with business units to evaluate project cash flows, IRR, NPV, payback periods, and other investment metrics.

Prepare concise, data‑driven management reporting and presentations to support investment decisions and capital prioritization.

Provide analytical support for financing strategies, including debt and equity considerations, cost of capital, and funding schedules.

Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate capitalization, cost tracking, and alignment with budget and forecast assumptions.

Enhance and automate financial models, tools, and reporting processes to improve forecasting accuracy and decision‑making speed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (MBA, CFA, CPA) a plus.

Minimum 3 years of relevant FP&A, project finance, or corporate finance experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling) and PowerPoint; experience with ERP (NetSuite, Sage) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.

Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, investment analysis, and scenario planning; specific experience in capital projects a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.

Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy, structure, and strategic insight.

Effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in English.

Additional Information

Compensation range: $90,000 – $125,000 annually (base salary).

Range is an estimate of base compensation; actual offers will depend on experience, location, education, and skills.

Discretionary bonus potential.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident; employment visa sponsorship not available.
