The Vice President, Distribution Legal, will serve as a senior legal advisor and business partner to Fox Corporation’s Distribution team. In this role, you will lead legal strategy and negotiation for Fox’s multi-platform distribution relationships across MVPDs, virtual MVPDs, and emerging digital platforms. This includes carriage of Fox’s broadcast stations, national cable networks, Tubi, Fox One, and Fox’s portfolio of FAST channels. Responsibilities

Lead negotiations, drafting, and structuring of complex distribution agreements with MVPDs, digital platforms, and other strategic partners Advise the business on the legal risks and compliance obligations associated with the traditional and digital distribution of Fox content Partner with executives and internal stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams to align deal execution with Fox’s broader corporate objectives Stay ahead of trends in distribution models, digital platforms, ad tech, data privacy, security, and evolving consumer functionality Act as a trusted advisor to department executives, offering solutions-oriented guidance on contract interpretation and long-term strategic opportunities Qualifications

10+ years of legal experience in media distribution, with a focus on content licensing and distribution JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership Proven success in drafting and negotiating a wide range of distribution agreements Substantial knowledge of digital and traditional content distribution pipelines Extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry, with a particular focus on distribution channels and trends Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape related to affiliate distribution, including FCC regulations Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities independently Expertise in contract law, with a superb track record in negotiating complex agreements Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills Familiarity with digital distribution methods and evolving distribution technologies Benefits

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $247,000.00-330,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
