Attorney and Vice President - Life Sciences Legal Recruitment Our Client is a well-established, mission-driven MedTech Company that is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its growing and dynamic legal team. The individual will have the ability to work as a generalist and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters including corporate governance, commercial contracts, data privacy, healthcare regulatory law, M&A, and HR practices. The Company is known for its collaborative and tight-knit work culture that offers fully remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g., vendor, supply, distribution, licensing, consulting)
Provide legal support to business units including R&D, sales, marketing, and operations.
Advise on regulatory compliance including but not limited to Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, FDA and other applicable healthcare regulations.
Assist with due diligence, deal structuring, and integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Advise on risk mitigation strategies and insurance matters.
Support various employment and HR matters as they arise.
Requirements:
JD with 5-10 years of legal experience.
Knowledge of Healthcare compliance, M&A, and commercial contracts.
Medical Device, Healthcare, or Life Sciences Industry experience.
Law Firm and In-House experience.
A can-do attitude who can work collaboratively with various levels of employees.
Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience with the life sciences industry preferred.
