Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well‑capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure‑play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin‑off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within NBCU Operations and Technology division is an $800M+ operating cash flow ($1.1B FCF). The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, and London.

The Senior Manager, Cyber Finance will report to the Director of Finance for Cyber and will play an integral role in the team, providing ongoing finance support on day‑to‑day operations and long‑term initiatives of Cyber Security line of business. The position offers unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU Cyber operations through daily exposure/interaction with O&T operational teams as well as the greater O&T finance and NBCU finance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Own monthly and quarterly close processes through timely/accurate pacing updates, variance analysis, journal entries, expense accruals, allocations, and other necessary closing activities

Collaborate with FP&A and Controllership teams in financial operational rhythm processes to ensure timely and accurate deliverables

Own key financial deliverables across planning cycles (LRP, Budget, Quarterly Estimates) and related analysis for P&L and Capital

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data to assist with financial processes and reporting (headcount, close packages, allocations, pacing, etc.)

Create, update, and maintain operating models and streamline Cyber Finance reporting and forecasting processes

Assist in preparation of operating review presentations for senior executives and leaders

Build effective business partner relationships with Cyber operators, O&T Finance, and other internal/external stakeholders

Support senior operational and finance management in execution of key initiatives through implementation of new processes and systems

Perform various ad‑hoc analyses and requests from senior management

Basic Qualifications / Requirements

BS/BA degree Finance, Accounting, or related field

6+ years in finance / accounting, preferably with focus on FP&A

Solid financial and analytical skills including ability to create complex financial models and efficiently communicate results

Proven experience of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products – particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Accounting / GAAP knowledge

Experience in SAP systems required, Essbase knowledge preferred

Additional Information This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary: $110,000- $145,000 (bonus eligible).
