Responsibilities

Architect and develop a cloud‑based data platform in

Snowflake

or

Databricks

to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.

Collaborate with business analysts, quants, and cross‑functional teams to design BI dashboards and visualizations using

Tableau

or

Power BI .

Produce and maintain technical documentation, including integration patterns and architectural diagrams.

Contribute to code reviews and enforce high‑quality engineering standards.

Provide production support for business‑critical data pipelines, including occasional weeknight and weekend support as needed.

Qualifications – Required

5+ years of combined experience in Data Architecture or Engineering within Trading, Investment Banking, or Asset Management.

Hands‑on experience building cloud‑based data lakes or data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks).

Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and ETL.

Strong background in SQL (T‑SQL) and relational databases (SQL Server).

Experience with data integration, ETL tools, and patterns.

Familiarity with financial industry data platforms (e.g., Charles River, FactSet, Bloomberg).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

Qualifications – Preferred

Agile/Scrum SDLC experience with Jira.

Source control proficiency (SVN, Git).

Test‑Driven or Behavior‑Driven Development experience.

Development within the .Net framework.

DevOps experience (Bitbucket, Bamboo, XL Deploy) for CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of SaaS cloud development.

Compensation Base salary range: $120,000 – $135,000 USD (actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors).
