Entry Level Structural Engineer

in Baltimore, MD. This full‑time, in‑office role focuses on structural design for a variety of building projects. What You’ll Do
Work with national and local building codes to determine applicable design loads. Perform engineering calculations using software tools and hand calculations to analyze and design foundations, beams, columns, and equipment supports. Assist in modeling and analyzing lateral systems. Prepare project cost estimates and evaluation studies. Develop comprehensive structural drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Evaluate and analyze existing structures for retrofits and rehabilitations. Assist with field inspections and submittal reviews for structural steel and concrete systems. Use structural analysis and graphical software packages and MS Office. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. What You Bring
B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) or B.S. in Architectural Engineering (Structural Option) from an ABET‑accredited school. 0–2 years of structural design experience. Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification (required). Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, RAM, TEDDS, ETABS, and STAADPRO preferred. Basic understanding of building codes and industry standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE). Strong attention to detail with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Valid driver’s license required. Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000, based on experience and location.
