Senior Field Applications Engineer (Cryo-EM)

Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions
Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Responsibilities
Foster positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service. Perform customer training both on-site and remotely, and interpret customer requirements to develop practical solutions. Facilitate the functional demonstration of newly assembled systems by conducting acceptance tests at the Thermo Fisher Scientific production facility or after installation at customer sites. Serve as a specialist in Cryo-EM within the life science domain. Support R&D, product development, marketing, and sales by lending applications expertise. Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in interacting with customers, service engineers, product marketing managers, and R&D teams. Strong communication and inter-cultural skills. Capability to operate autonomously as well as cooperatively within a group setting. Outstanding skill in translating customer needs into actionable solutions. 8 years' competence in cryo-electron microscopy within the life science domain and a bachelor's degree or advanced degree or equivalent work experience. Outstanding colleague who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at working independently or remotely. Strong communication skills with a focus on inter-cultural understanding.
