Responsibilities
Support the design, programming, and implementation of automated systems across site equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation systems to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.
Develop and update technical documentation, including design and functional specifications.
Participate in system startup, commissioning, and validation activities.
Monitor control system performance and recommend improvements aligned with industry standards.
Uphold GMP and safety requirements while meeting project schedules and compliance expectations.
Contribute to standard operating procedure (SOP) development and assist with staff training.
Provide on-call support for urgent automation issues as part of a rotating schedule.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within site operations to address production needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
3–5 years of experience working with manufacturing automation systems.
Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming; familiarity with Rockwell FactoryTalk or similar software.
Knowledge of Siemens control systems and ISA-88 batch process standards is beneficial.
Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and professionalism.
Detail-oriented and accountable, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and alignment with organizational values and mission.
