Overview Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean, carbon‑free energy, is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function at its Clinton Clean Energy Center in Clinton, IL. The role focuses on managing engineering personnel and programs that support site operations and regulatory compliance.

Location & Compensation Clinton, IL. Expected salary range: $156,600 – $174,000 plus a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program, comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, paid time off and more.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.

Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel, focusing on high‑quality engineering results.

Lead engineering and technical activities that impact short‑term and long‑term programs at the site.

Participate in business planning, budgeting and performance reviews.

Contribute as a senior resource to NGG‑wide programs and initiatives on engineering systems and processes.

Perform additional duties as directed, including emergency response, outage activities, and departmental coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science, or Professional Engineer license, or SRO license with 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least one year of nuclear power plant experience.

Compliance with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 Standard for Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants.

Required minimum access or unescorted access, favorable medical examination and testing in accordance with duties.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer registration.

Advanced technical degree or MBA.

Supervisory or managerial experience.
