The Vice President of Accounting will oversee all accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the organization’s financial reporting processes. This strategic leader will collaborate with senior management to guide the financial direction of the business and foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. $200,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, promoting excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Oversee the consolidation process for multiple subsidiaries and implement standardized procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting across all entities. Develop, enhance, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP. Improve accounting systems, processes, and workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and accuracy through best practices and technology. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors, overseeing annual audits and tax filings. Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monthly close checklists. Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues. Partner with cross-functional teams — including operations, marketing, and HR — to gather financial data and deliver actionable insights. Present financial results and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and strategic manner. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and financial statement preparation for multi-entity organizations. Experience with ERP systems (Workday or similar) and advanced Excel proficiency. Demonstrated success leading teams, managing cross-functional initiatives, and influencing executive decision-making. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-finance stakeholders. Industry experience in multi-location, service-oriented businesses such as hospitality, retail, or consumer services preferred.
