The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology (CCB) at The University of New Mexico invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track assistant professor in experimental organic chemistry, with research inclinations in optoelectronic materials and/or biomaterials. The position begins on August 10, 2026.
The successful candidate will develop a nationally recognized research program, secure external funding, and teach core and elective courses in organic chemistry and materials science, supervise graduate students, and contribute to departmental service and outreach.
