Job Description Department Overview:
The Business Technology Analyst II is a member of the ABL Business Technology team within the ABL Operations Department under the umbrella of the Commercial Credit Management. The Business Technology Analyst II is part of a small team that utilizes various applications to assist the ABL Operations team as they manage the ABL commercial portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to utilizing Microsoft Excel and USBO for the creation and production of reports that highlight any variances in availability, loan balance, interest, or maturity dates within the portfolio; creating and maintaining portfolio tracking databases; reviewing Field Exam reports; tracking and reviewing fees associated with the portfolio in ACBS/SHAW and Fidelity; utilizing data mining software such as Monarch for the review of AR, AP and Inventory reports; creation and production of dashboard reports. The Business Technology Analyst II should be able to conduct in-depth analysis as they help support the various departments within Asset Based Lending such as Credit, Field Exam, and Investor Processing.

The Business Technology Analyst II supervises and directs exempt and non-exempt specialists in servicing specialty lending clients. This job manages full range of activities for a variety of lending businesses, including corporate, Asset Based Lending (ABL), and Dealer floor plan and Central Collateral Monitoring.
Depth & Scope
Dedicated focus to deliver enhanced reporting including dashboards and portfolio wish list - Delinquent collateral reporting, Avg undrawn availability, Non-compliant reporting, Inventory reliance and other exception reports
In-house experts who marry technology capabilities and COE needs (i.e. analytical models); recommend solution enhancements; train/re-train COE employees
In-house Stucky expert; Coordinate maintenance /enhancements for Stucky System with Vendor and TD Bank IT Resources; Assist with troubleshooting; Lead system testing
Required application experience: data mining software (i.e. Monarch), Business Objects, Access, Excel, Stucky, Shaw
Turn data into information to accelerate decision making; use dashboards/reports to provide transparency for management
Deep analytical skills with solutions mentality
Deep collateral monitoring/operations experience
Strong project management skills with great attention to detail
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization; proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (leaders, managers and subject matter experts)
Must work effectively in a matrix organization and across functions
Education & Experience
4 year degree or equivalent experience
5+ years related experience required
In-depth understanding of commercial lending industry, business development techniques and credit decisions, with experience in corporate, asset based, leasing, international , foreign exchange and trade services and other specialty lending areas helpful
Ability to assess business needs and develop a technology solution
Project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
