Leidos is seeking a
Senior Linux Systems Administrator
for its National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role includes critical support for IT system implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance across client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices and more. The position offers a competitive pay range of $112,450.00‑$203,275.00 and a 10k sign‑on bonus.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain STE/STN compliance: ensure systems meet security and compliance standards.
Account and access management: manage accounts, network rights and access to systems and equipment, implementing security procedures and tools.
System configuration and management: configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load software, troubleshoot, maintain network integrity and implement system enhancements.
IT support and troubleshooting: provide day‑to‑day IT support, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
User assistance: assist users in accessing and using IT systems, providing support for escalated tickets and detailed analysis.
System optimization and capacity planning: optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Dispatch system and hardware support: support dispatch systems and hardware issues, configure and install system hardware/software, and maintain server and domain security requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Ten or more years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, bringing the required experience to 15 years.
Experience with Linux, Windows and virtualization.
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
