Job Description The Manager, Enterprise Technology Services manages services related to the design and implementation of server, storage, database, email/messaging, and virtualization technology for The Christ Hospital Health Network, and will also provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the stable, secure, and effective operation of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities Enterprise Technology

Directs team to properly implement best practices for infrastructure services including proven infrastructure methodologies, service management processes and operational support

Partners with IT Leadership team, IT vendors and business leaders in managing overall IT operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance and customer satisfaction

Manages IT infrastructure budget, developing cost/benefit analyses for proposed spending and evaluating and negotiating potential solutions

Provide guidance to ensure that all systems meet current and anticipated availability and capacity requirements

Provide long-term technical vision and strategic direction for data center infrastructure

Ensure team provides and governs infrastructure architecture designs and standards

Creates reference architectures, position statements and technical design documents

Researches, identifies and recommends industry best practices for solving business problems

Benchmarks and collaborates with technology vendors for technology planning purposes

Project Leadership and Oversight

Works with PMO to manage resources and activities to ensure enterprise technology project deliverables are met on time and within budget while delighting our customers.

Helps to identify project risks and set timelines to meet customer expectations.

Coordinate with the appropriate internal organizations, such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal, to construct performance-based, accountability-driven vendor agreements.

Leadership and Human Resource Management

Builds, leads and manages a high performing team through staff development, recruiting and retention to support growing business needs

Leads effective change – Recognizes the need for, takes personal accountability to adapt, and leads others through organizational change

Fosters a service oriented atmosphere of teamwork between the business and IT

Leadership presence that establishes credibility at the highest levels of the organization, as well as across and down the organization with system users

Must be a professional and possess unquestionable integrity, credibility, business ethics and character

Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people on business needs, infrastructure issue resolution, projects and/or financial issues

Delivers high levels of initiative, drive and poise coupled with qualities of maturity, professionalism, flexibility, and patience.

Provides training and mentoring as needed.

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills (e.g., BSN required, MSN preferred) Education

High school diploma required

bachelor's degree in IT discipline preferred

Years of Experience / Required Skills and Knowledge

Minimum 10 years of Information Technology in a large, complex environment

Minimum 3 years' experience leading enterprise infrastructure group

Minimum 5 years of experience managing or leading large infrastructure project

Minimum 5 years of experience with ITIL process management (Change, Incident, Problem), required

Minimum 5 years of experience managing Service Level Agreements, required

Minimum 5 years of experience with Data Center Operations, required

Minimum 2 years of experience managing suppliers in outsourcing contracts, required

Experience working in a large healthcare environment, preferred.

Six Sigma experience, preferred

Licenses, Registrations & Certifications

ITIL Foundations Certification

PMI Certification
