Overview
Compliance Attorney – Creditors’ Rights Law Firm, Plantation, FL Ras LaVrar, LLC is an elite creditors’ rights law firm that provides full-service litigation in addition to comprehensive collection services. Our offices, home to almost one hundred employees across nine states, including our Plantation, FL headquarters, work diligently to ensure our interests are in constant alignment with those of our clients. The Compliance Attorney role requires drafting and implementing new policies and procedures in alignment with client work standards. Our firm maintains a collegial work environment that prioritizes internal promotion, training, and professional development. We strive to see our employees grow! We are seeking 5-7 years collections experience and / or compliance experience working with large banks or financial institutions. The candidate will need to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Bar membership is required, but not in a specific state. Preference given to FL, GA, VA or PA Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and includes our benefits package. This is an in-office position that would require monthly travel to the Plantation, FL headquarters if hired in another state.
Responsibilities
Draft and implement all new policies and procedures, in accordance with client work standards
Review, interpret, and present legal and regulatory changes to a multi-department audience as well as clients
Attend and participate regularly in Client calls
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
Manage the compliance team
Understand and implement the required changes to ongoing compliance assurance monitoring
4th Party vendor onboarding / offboarding and management
Insurance renewals
Complete client surveys, assessments and questionnaires within timeframe
Call Monitoring oversight

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be extremely organized and able to keep up with competing tasks and deadlines
Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
Demonstrated ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
Meticulous analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Required Education and Training
Juris Doctor
5-7 years legal experience
Bar membership in at least one state
Basic principles of Quality Assurance and / or Quality Control strongly preferred
