What this job involves: Join JLL's Client Finance team in North Carolina as a Financial Analyst, where you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional financial services to our valued clients. This position combines analytical expertise with client service excellence, supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. As a key member of our finance team, you'll contribute directly to JLL's mission of shaping the future of real estate by ensuring accurate financial insights and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by analyzing operational history and incorporating client strategic decisions
Execute month-end close activities, including preparation of accrual journal entries and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting
Produce detailed monthly financial statements with variance analysis to identify trends and support client decision-making
Conduct complex data analysis and performance reviews to develop forecasts and trend analysis for client portfolios
Assist in preparing ad hoc financial analyses and executive presentations to support client needs and strategic initiatives
Maintain and update procedural documentation for assigned processes while identifying opportunities for process improvements
Provide analytical support for cross-functional projects and collaborate with various teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-4 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a client-service environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and business partners
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial real estate or property management finance
Knowledge of SSAE16 internal review standards and audit compliance
Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems
Previous experience in a client services or consulting environment
Strong presentation skills with experience creating executive-level reports
Familiarity with budget development and forecasting processes in multi-client environments
