Position Summary BYLT Premium Basics is hiring a Retail Associate. The ideal candidate is customer‑service oriented and passionate about people. This individual will be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion, embody the BYLT for You mindset, and serve as a true ambassador of the brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Actively greet and engage with customers on the sales floor to provide an excellent customer experience.
Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Maintain a neat and tidy sales floor, including folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per BYLT’s guidelines.
Inform customers of current promotions and potential future merchandise.
Respond to customer questions.
Administer financial transactions, processing payments via cash, gift cards, store credit, and credit/debit cards.
Alert management of potential security issues.
Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Required Skills
Excellent communicator, utilizing technology effectively to engage with customers and team.
Problem solver focused on continuous improvement, open to feedback, and proactive in action.
Handles customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
Uses basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
Learns procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.
Meets sales goals and is able to upsell.
Possesses BYLT product knowledge.
Demonstrates strong customer service and people skills.
Maintains a fast‑paced energy level and dependability.
General math skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
1 year+ of retail experience.
Cash handling skills & point‑of‑sale systems experience.
Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
Bending, stooping, and kneeling required – frequently.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be 18+ or have a high school diploma/GED.
