We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The successful candidate will be a key player in our fast-paced, high-stakes litigation team, primarily focusing on insurance defense litigation. You will be part of a supportive team environment that values your contributions and helps you grow professionally while delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities
Represent clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation, from inception to resolution. Conduct thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Engage in discovery, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions. Develop case strategies based on the review and analysis of evidence and legal precedent. Manage relationships with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff. Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlements. Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities. Stay abreast of current trends and changes in insurance defense litigation. Collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction. Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance legal knowledge and skills. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably insurance defense litigation. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases independently and effectively. Proven track record of achieving favorable results for clients in insurance defense litigation. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
