PRINCIPAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST SpaceX is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to drive and manage SpaceX classified physical security buildouts and projects. The program focuses on the following major areas:
Physical security: ensure compliance with all Intelligence Community, DoD SAP Security Manuals, and NISPOM requirements
Project management: expert ability to interact with general contractors and vendors to keep efforts on schedule and budget
Communications: be "the face" of the industrial security program to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customer, regulatory, government and supplier entities)
The successful candidate will take complete ownership of Government Security Programs (GSP) physical security efforts to ensure SpaceX delivers on customer requirements, reduces risk, and ensures mission success. We are a fast paced, multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment with high degrees of autonomy and accountability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide ownership of all SCI, SAP, and collateral physical security efforts within a fast-paced environment
Assist in strengthening the physical security-related knowledge base and skillset of other team members
Complete and manage applicable CUA's, CONOPS, OPSEC Plans, and PPP's
Oversee all access control and intrusion detection system functions within secure spaces
Manage applicable vendor relations
Participate in security-related inquiries
Attend and provide support to various customer meetings and working groups
Create training and development plans for employees
Own physical security-related compliance and inspection activities
Support launch security efforts
Support other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
8+ years of security-related experience performing NISPOM-related security responsibilities
8+ years of security-related experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI/SAP environment
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Strong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies and procedures
Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, CORE, TALON and JADE
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
Ability to travel in support of mission requirements between Washington DC, Starbase, Redmond, and Cape Canaveral - up to 60%
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones
This position is based in Washington, DC and requires being onsite - remote work not considered
