Job Description
A leadingFinTech company in consumer credit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact initiatives at the intersection of credit risk modeling and generative AI. In this role, you’ll work on cutting‑edge machine learning solutions using both structured and unstructured data. You’ll also play a key role in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production systems — delivering insights, optimizing risk models, and driving product innovation.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy predictive models for credit and risk analysis
Apply and adapt LLMs to extract insights from text and enhance decision‑making
Own model monitoring, explainability, and performance tracking
Collaborate across teams to bring ML models into scalable production pipelines
Analyze pilot programs using back‑testing and real‑world dataPresent findings and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders
Stay ahead of the curve on GenAI, NLP, and advanced ML developments
Requirements
Master’s or PhD in a STEM or quantitative field
3–5 years of experience in data science, with focus on ML / AI in credit or risk domains
Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
Hands‑on experience with model development, deployment, and monitoring
Strong communication skills and ability to influence across disciplines
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred)
Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, NLP, or explainable AI (preferred)
